Workshop Responsibilities of field workers towards widows and orphans in Turkey

In the presence of more than 50 participants and the participation of representatives of humanitarian organizations working with orphans and widows in Turkey, and at the invitation and organization of the Orphans Care Union, a specialized workshop was held under the title “Responsibilities of field workers towards widows and orphans” presented by Professor of Social Work, Dr. Wahiba Abu Ras - Adelphi University, America, This will be held in Istanbul and Antakya on December 13 and 16, 2019.

During which, an introductory overview was presented about the importance of the role of workers in the humanitarian field and the job burnout that workers with orphans and widows can reach, and ways to solve it by offering global and Arab practical experiences such as this problem.

The participants showed a remarkable interaction during the workshop, and they put forward important solutions and inquiries that benefit the humanitarian field by answering questions within the forms submitted to them, hoping that these practical workshops will continue to serve and develop the humanitarian sector.
